We specialise in growing gourmet and medicinal mushroom in the Blue Mountains.

I have been using the Rainfresh Technology system for the last 6 months and it has greatly improved the look, feel and taste of my produce. Inside the grow room there is a clean and fresh aroma, before it was a sweet and sickly smell.

I have increased my yield by 30% on average, using the same growing techniques. I have been doing a lot of testing with spoiled bags and there is no cross contamination with other healthy grow bags.

Our Story

Our journey began in 2014 when we were approached by a long standing customer to find a solution to the mould growing inside the cool-room where they stored their fresh produce, so after a long search looking at lots of different systems from around the world we settled on a system that has been around since 1967 that uses UV-C Germicidal lamps to eliminate the mould spores along with all the airborne bacteria and virus particulates, we tested this technology and found it did far more if it was combined with a special mineral coating.

This coating/UV-C combination takes care of the VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) in the air as well, so we thought we had the perfect combination only to discover these devices were not compliant with the Australian Standards so our CEO employed his engineering skills to make something we could offer that is

Our first units were good but ugly so we have spent the last 5 years improving the look, feel and efficiency of the units and now we are very proud to offer New for 2020 the latest unit that is fully integrated, with an on-board monitoring system recording and reporting from a range of sensors that can be tailored to suit your needs, then via an app on your phone/tablet or via an API back into your system the units can be monitored 24/7 with alarms and a graphical interface.

These units are now employed in lots of different situations be it long-term storage of apples & pears, wine cellars, fresh produce cold storage right through to waste disposal trucks eliminating organic odours.
